Imagina Paz
Story Behind the Song
"Imagina Paz" (Imagine Peace) is a song I wrote as a quiet manifesto for tolerance, coexistence and personal freedom. It is gentle and open-hearted by design, an invitation rather than a protest.
It begins by asking you to imagine something simple: a world where no one is afraid of being different.
From there it speaks about freedom of belief and of being. I do not think that anyone's faith or identity should ever become a tool for judging or oppressing another person. Your path is your own, and it deserves respect without needing anyone's permission or approval. I am not here to impose, to command, or to demand that you live by my rules.
None of us chose where we were born, the color of our skin, or the circumstances we arrived into. So no one should have to apologize simply for existing.
My truth and your truth do not have to be at war. I can hold what I believe without silencing you, and you can do the same. That is what coexistence really means.
I know this change of heart is not easy for everyone. But I am convinced of one thing: peace begins the moment we stop judging one another.
That is what this song asks of you, to imagine that world, and then to hold the image long enough to believe in it.
